My New 8-Bit Fireplace

As everyone in the mid-west is already painfully aware of, it snowed a lot this weekend! I stayed indoors and used the time to finally finish my cozy new 8-bit fireplace.

It’s a terrible photo, I know, but you can also see my new critical hit rug which I got for Christmas! I have an extremely narrow mantle, which is quite annoying, so it’s been a challenge to decorate it. It should be next on my decor to-do list.

I used scrapbook card stock instead of the paint samples but I took their recommendation and bought a 1″ square hole punch. It made it much easier!
